Sichuan Yibin Global Group was established in July 2004 to focus on the development, design and manufacture of toughened glass insulators. With around 50 million insulators in service worldwide – over 40 million in high voltage operation – they have established the product quality, performance and reliability of a global leader.
SYGG have around 400,000 insulators in operation in the U.K.
SYGG’s annual production capacity is over 9 million glass insulators.
Their advanced manufacturing centre uses production, inspection and testing equipment from around the world, which, combined with a skilled workforce and the latest quality management systems, delivers products that meet global standards.
In operation they experience a shattering rate below 1 in 10,000 per year, a low failure rate and no ageing. Over 75% of SYGG’s insulators operate at 400kV or above.
