First PACE supply to EPC for Kemsley to Littlebrook

Further to achieving approval for use on the UK’s national grid, PACE is celebrating after being awarded a contract to supply Matthew Gap 4 Response vibration dampers to Babcock International. PACE was asked to supply over 3,400 RIBE vibration dampers to the Kemsley to Littlebrook project, which in itself signified the first time PACE has secured approval for a national grid item for supply to an EPC.

The 4 Response Vibration Damper is a so called “range-taking” design being suitable for 2 other conductor types, namely Rubus and Sorbus. The design’s ability to range-take allows for more flexibility in usage and lower stocking levels.
