Welcome Darren Blood to PACE Networks

Winter NewsletterWe are delighted to welcome Darren Blood to the PACE Networks team. Darren joins us as Transmission and Distribution Engineering Director and will engage and develop client relationships with stakeholders at all levels. He brings with him a wealth of commercial and technical experience, gained over almost 20 years in T&D.

Darren will play a leading role in our work with TNO’s, DNO’s and contractors across the UK and Republic of Ireland. He will shape proposals, manage projects and drive innovation, to achieve the best possible value for our clients and partners. Darren has a deep understanding of our customers and the industry, having collaborated on the specification and delivery of many varied and challenging projects.

Darren comments “I enjoy working with project managers, policy engineers, purchasing and bidding engineers, to create complete solutions, that perform well and ensure compliance. I look forward to helping operators and contractors make best use of PACE’s products, technical expertise and supply chain capabilities.”

Gavin Smith, Managing Director, regards the appointment as very timely: “Darren is joining the PACE team when we’re gaining further approvals, working with new manufacturers and enhancing our UK stocks. It promises to be an exciting year ahead with Darren, Andrew Elliot and the rest of the team here at PACE.”
